Hummingbird Weekly Magazine Cover

Here is my first project in my Graphic design class that concentrates on Photoshop.  Our first assignment was to take several images of hummingbirds and design a mock magazine cover.  We did this in a 3 1/2 hour class period.  I wanted to do more with the background but made due with what I had at the end of class.

So I spent a few hours putting this together and I am pleased with how it turned out.  I will be posting my own work along with reviews of other media I run into.  The subject matter will be based around whatever movies, music, events, games and video games I encounter that spur a strong opinion or view.

I felt inspired to do this because I just recently purchased XCOM: Enemy Unknown on a Steam sale, and I am enamored by its ability to draw my interest even with a busy schedule that allows for only an hour or two to play every couple days.  So, My next post should be a review of XCOM: Enemy Unknown.
